GEORGE HARRISON All Things Must Pass (2010 UK limitededition 23-track triple
180gram Heavyweight VinylLP box set – Back in 1970 with the break-up of The Beatles, allfocus was naturally on John Lennon and Paul McCartney, tosee what they would do next. However, it was George that hitthe ground running with ‘All Things Must Pass’. By the time hewas to record the songs he had been amassing over theseyears, he was able to round up a stellar band inclduing RingoStarr, EricClapton, members of Badfinger, Billy Preston,Bobby Whitlock, Gary Brooker [ex-Procol Harem] and GaryWright as well as members of Delaney and Bonnie’s band withwhom he had toured in 1969. The sessions were produced byPhil Spector, then renowned as the genius inventor of the’Wall of Sound’. George himself remastered the album in2000, living long enough to see it released to great criticalacclaim and commercial success in 2001. All housed withinthe textured picture box with gold embossed titles on thespine. The three discs show light cosmetic surface scuffs andtheir accompanying printed inners have some unfortunateseam splits to the bottom edges but comes complete with thebonus fold-out poster. The box shows a few light scuff but isfree of any damage. STCH639)
